Ted Moody, Principal
Prior to ForestView, Ted was a Director in the Corporate Finance group of KPMG, the fourth largest accounting firm and the leading provider of middle market merger and acquisition services worldwide. During his ten years at KPMG, Ted worked on various assignments including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, valuations, fairness opinions, and strategic assessments. He has done work on cross-border transactions as well as for troubled companies.
Prior to joining KPMG, Ted founded Moody & Associates, Inc. which provided acquisition advisory services to public and private companies that were active consolidators of companies in the business services space. Ted led more than ten buyside advisory assignments while at Moody & Associates. Prior to founding Moody & Associates, Ted worked in the corporate development group of Republic Industries (now Republic Services, Inc. [NYSE:RSG] and AutoNation Inc. [NYSE:AN]). While at Republic, Ted was part of a team that completed several hundred acquisitions of waste services, home security, automotive dealership, and outdoor advertising companies. Prior to Republic, Ted held several positions in the corporate development group of Ryder System, Inc. [NYSE:R], a leading transportation, logistics, and supply chain management solutions provider.

Judy Carr Moody, ASA, Principal
For over twenty five years, Judy has performed business appraisals of closely held businesses for gift tax, estate tax, annual ESOP updates, dissenting shareholder suits, acquisitions, business damages cases, and marital dissolution cases. She also prepares valuations of private partnerships, intangible assets, and personal holding companies.
Prior to opening her own firm in 1997, Judy was Senior Consultant in Litigation Services at Peed, Koross, Finkelstein & Crain (“PKFC”) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 1995 to 1997. At PKFC, she was responsible for valuing closely held interests in businesses and partnerships for litigation, estate planning, mergers, and business damages. During her employment with PKFC, she participated in specialized course work in partnership and corporate valuation, taxation, and estate planning.
Prior to PKFC, Judy worked for over seven years at The Northern Trust Company [NYSE:NTRS] in both Chicago, Illinois and Miami, Florida. She was a Financial Analyst / Trust Officer in Family Business in Chicago and Personal Trust Relationship Manager in Miami, Florida. Her responsibilities included monitoring and managing closely held assets / business interests held in fiduciary accounts. Among other responsibilities, she determined the appropriate action to take regarding acquiring or selling these business interests.
